Meet the Facilitators at CoachHorse

Pam Kachelmeier, MA, PC- Founder

Pam KachelmeierPam Kachelmeier is a professional counselor and founded CoachHorse Counseling & Learning Center LLC. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Equine-Assisted Mental Health from Prescott College, Arizona and is certified through the Equine-Assisted Growth and Learning Association. She has experience working with children, adolescents, individuals, families and groups. Pam interned at Chap’s Academy Inc. in Shiocton, Wisconsin specializing in outpatient Equine-Assisted Mental Health counseling with children and adolescents and their families. A lifetime horsewoman, Pam’s experience with horses combined with Counseling Psychology, provides a unique approach to mental health and learning.

Her area of expertise includes child and adolescent issues including anxiety, depression, sexual abuse, trauma, parent/child relationships, blended families, attachment issues, self-harm issues, poor self-image, school difficulties, behavior concerns, and attention deficit disorder.  When agreed upon, Equine Assisted Counseling is integrated into many of the counseling sessions as youth find working with an animal is less intimidating than face to face in an office; in addition to the youth does not want to be there.  Horses are great gateways to opening the door to building a relationship with the counselor. Activities and interactions with the horse combined with counseling foster motivation and commitment to the counseling process.

Wendy Jeske
Wendy has worked in the corporate world for the last 25 years, domestically and internationally. She has a strong interest in all cultures and has spent many years hosting and supporting several international students and teachers. From her experience, she learned the common human elements within many cultures. She has a genuine depth of compassion to helping others reach their goals. She believes, as we grow older, life has become too serious and we lose touch with our playful side. Something so many of us have suppressed in order to feel "professional." Wendy loves to help people regain a connection with their inner child through bringing out their playful side. When you allow your inner child out to play, you are free and become your authentic self. This is at the heart of where we find true inner happiness.
